By Car
Kent International Airport is easy to reach by car. The entrance to the passenger terminal is on the B2050 1 mile from the village of Manston and two miles west of Ramsgate on the Thanet Peninsula of north-east Kent. Driving from London: Journey time – 1.5 hours approx.

Head south-east out of London on the A2 via the Blackwall Tunnel, Greenwich and Eltham. If using the M25, exit at Junction 2 where the A2 becomes the M2. The M2 ends at Junction 7 near Faversham where it splits into the A2 (Canterbury/Dover) and the A299 (for Kent International Airport and Ramsgate).

Follow the A299 and continue for approximately 15 miles until you come to the Mount Pleasant roundabout where the A299 meets the B2048 for Birchington. Turn left on to the B2048 and at the next roundabout turn right on to the B2190. The next roundabout has a turn for Kent International (Manston) Business Park but airport visitors should continue on the main road, the B2190. After half a mile, the B2190 merges into the B2050 and the turning for Kent International Airport follows shortly on the right hand side. Note there is no passenger car access to the village of Manston or Haine Road from the airport side of the B2190.

Driving from Canterbury: Journey time – 25 minutes approx.

Take the A28 north-east out of Canterbury for Margate/Ramsgate. When the road forks, take the A253 which then merges into the A299. At the Mount Pleasant roundabout where the A299 meets the B2048 for Birchington, turn left on to the B2048 and at the next roundabout turn right on the B2190.

Driving from Dover: Journey time – 20 minutes approx.

Head north out of Dover on the A256 and continue on this road for 15 miles approximately. The dual carriageway ends just before Sandwich, but stay on this side (the A256) following signs to Ramsgate/Margate.

At the Lord of the Manor roundabout, where the A256 meets the A299, turn left on to the A299. After about a mile you reach Mount Pleasant roundabout. Turn right on to the B2048 and at the next roundabout turn right on to the B2190. The next roundabout has a turn for Kent International (Manston) Business Park but airport visitors should continue on the main road, the B2190. After half a mile, the B2190 merges into the B2050 and the turning for Kent International Airport follows shortly on the right hand side. Note there is no passenger car access to the airport between Haine Road and the village of Manston
